$1,000 Homeschool Scholarship — April 13
Homeschool Nation has announced a new homeschool scholarship for $1,000. The college scholarship will be awarded May 30, 2012, to a homeschooled high school student. The winner will be selected based on the personal statement of their profile on the HSNATION.com website. All homeschooled high school students are welcome to apply for the scholarship. All you need to do is go to HSNATION.com and fill out a profile. Entries must be completed by Friday, April 13.
More homeschool scholarships added
Our focus today is on unearthing scholarships for homeschoolers that exist, but aren’t well-known. Our list is growing. Our total as of today stands at 14. It includes one new private scholarship offered by the Klipsan Beach Life Saving Station, one regional scholarship for homeschool students in Arizona, and three from homeschool organizations or businesses (Homeschool Nation, Sonlight and Washington Homeschool Organization). Colleges that offer homeschool scholarships include Bryan College, Central Christian College, Faulkner University, Nyack College, Oral Roberts University, Patrick Henry College, San Diego Christian College, Taccoa Falls College, and Tyndale Theologican Seminary & Biblical Institute.
Congratulations to these organizations who already offer homeschool scholarships. If you see that we have omitted someone, please let us know. In the meantime, we’ll keep looking for existing ones and encouraging additional businesses and organizations to take the challenge.
