We can help homeschooler J.R.S. get to college

We’ve decided to try something different when it comes to one of our “urgent need” homeschoolers. J.R.S. needs the smallest amount of scholarship money, but for him the amount is overwhelming. He also needs the tuition money sooner than the others. We’ve checked into his situation, and decided that we should make every effort to help. Without going into details, as J.R.S. is a minor, we’re appealing to some of you to make small donations that will add up to the $270 J.R.S. needs. If he doesn’t have the funds by Monday (Aug. 16) the amount will rise to $320.

We have a PayPal “donate” button on our About Us page. Any donations that come in today through Aug. 15, unless designated otherwise, will go directly for J.R.S.’ enrollment in Great Lakes Christian College.

We had 139 visitors to this site yesterday. If everyone had donated $2, J.R.S. would already have the needed funds. Surely we can do this in five days. When we reach the $270 mark, we’ll make a post letting you know J.R.S.’ need has been met.

You can read more information about J.R.S.’ need, and that of seven other homeschoolers, here.
